Today I thought I would have a go at another challenge. This one is called 'Colour Throwdown' where I had to make a card using the following colours:
Pink
White
Aqua
Gold

I went for a style of card that I find the most tricky which is the CAS card, I always feel I either haven't done enough or the small elements that I do use are out of place in a way that I just can't seem to work out.
I stuck with it though...
I used white card stock for the base which I then layered with pink card and then more white card to create a border. I stamped two little teacups and a butterfly using Versafine ink and coloured them in using alcohol based markers. Next I stamped the sentiment which I heat embossed using clear gloss embossing powder. Finally I added small gold circular stickers as the finishing touch.
Considering how new I am to the whole process I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out. I think I'll continue to practice making more CAS cards in the near future.
