The start of a new Journey

On the 14th May 2020 I decided to create my first card. Over the years previous to this I added to my craft stash with the intention of making things one day. It took me a long time to work up the courage just to even try. I believed it would just be another thing I 'couldn't do'. I'd failed before I even started.

I don't know what gave me the courage to start on that particular day, maybe it was a combination of things. I had moved house so had room to craft, my mum's birthday was approaching and I was having to go through stuff I hadn't even used. I guess it was time to use some of it. I'm so glad I did, I absolutely love it!

I think I have finally found something I enjoy doing, something that makes me happy and most importantly something that tames my overactive mind for a while.

I'm looking forward to learning lots about card making and improving my projects over the months and, hopefully, years to come.
